Snowy, Blowy Winter by Bob Raczka

A tribute to the winter's activities, tastes, and sounds features simple rhymes using "y" words. Snowy, Blowy Winter by Bob Raczka illustrated by Judy Stead was published in September 2008.

This is such a fun book that reminds kids of fun things that happen in the snow. I love that it rhymes throughout the book and that they are all using "y" words. This is great book to talk about rhyming but also how words flow. The illustrations in this book are so colorful and really draw the attention of any kid that is reading it. The text flows so perfect that it is easy book to read aloud. There won't be any stumbling over. The text is simple so it's perfect for young kids to enjoy. Cassie and Mason really enjoyed listening to this book. They love seeing all the fun thing that they can do in the winter.
