Moses Goes to a Concert by Isaac Millman

Moses and his school friends are deaf, but like most children, they have a lot to say. They communicate in American Sign Language, using visual signs and facial expressions. This is called signing. And even though they can't hear, they can enjoy many activities through their other senses. Today, Moses and his classmates are going to a concert. Their teacher, Mr. Samuels, has two surprises in store for them, to make this particular concert a special event. Moses Goes to a Concert by Isaac Millman was published in April 1998. This book is apart of Moses Goes series.

I really love how more disabilities are being shown to kids through books. As some disabilities, kids won't come across before they are grown. The illustrations are colorful but a little chaotic in some places in the books. The story-line is cute and you really learn a little about deaf culture but I felt like it lacked some depth in the story. I am hoping reading more books in the series will give me the depth about Moses. Cassie liked looking at the picture and we really liked reading the story together. I can't wait to check out other books in the series. I recommend to check it out.
