We love Pete the cat in our house. We were introduced to it when Miles was little and it has stuck. The thing about Pete the Cat is the books have a sing song quality that gets stuck in your head really easy. In this book Pete thinks Valentine's Day isn't cool...until he realizes all the special cats there are in his life. Once Pete the Cat realizes how much fun Valentine's Day can be, he decides to make cards. But he forgotten someone. Pete Cat: Valentine's Day is Cool by James and Kimberly Dean was published in November 2013.
This was such a fun book that resembles the other Pete the Cat books. My kids really enjoyed the song-like text. The illustrations in this book are colorful and really draw the attention of the kids reading the book. We loved this book so much and can't wait to read it over and over again. This book for sure should be read for Valentine's. If you have some kids who don't love the frilly books then this book will be for you.
