Birds by Carme Lemniscates

 

For the National Bird day holiday, I decided we should check out a book about birds. In this book, birds come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They like to chat with one another as they fly high or low in the sky. Birds make music and can fly wherever they plays. Birds by Carme Lemniscates was published in March 2019. 

This book is so much fun and so unique the illustrations are colorful and yet simple. My kids really liked this book and looking at the illustrations. They would also try to name a few of the birds in the book. The words are simple that even my kindergarten was able to read the book on his own if he wanted to to. The book is very sweet and has some nonfiction aspects in it. This book is really sweet and worth checking out.
