Book Review: Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin

This is one of my kids favourite authors. I don't know many kids who does not like Doreen Cronin. Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type by Doreen Cronin and illustrated by Betsy Lewin was published in September 1999. This book has gotten the following awards; Caldecott Medal Nominee (2001), Book Sense Book of the Year Award Nominee for Children's Illustrated (2001), Charlotte Zolotow Award Nominee for Highly Commended Title (2001), Vermont's Picture Book Awards Red Clover (2002), Vermont's Picture Book Award Charlotte Award (2002), Maryland Black-Eyed Susan Book Award for Picture (2002), California Young Readers Medal Nominee for Primary (2003), and Irma Black Award Nominee (2001).

The illustrations in this book are so much fun. They are more cartoonish then real. My kids loved this story and I had to explain what a typewriter was. Which they thought was way better then a computer keyboard. They giggled through out this book and had a blast making guesses if the cows were able to get what they wanted. They loved the ending of this book and made predictions for future books. This book needs to be on every kids bookshelf.
