Today is Opposite Day! So learning and comprehending basic concepts word pairs of opposites allow children to gain new vocabulary as well. When a child comprehends the opposite pairs they can expand their vocabulary. At four years old is the when children should understand and grasp opposites words. In this book, when it comes to opposites, you learn it all matters of of the perspective. Double Take! A New Look at Opposites by Susan Hood, illustrated by Jay Fleck was published in June 2017. 

This book is so much fun with it's retro illustrations and then the vocabulary in this book is so amazing. My older kids loved the vocabulary in this book as it helped teach them the different words. I love how it talks about it means the perspective of who is seeing it. It helps explains what perspective means. This book is a must read.
