Book Review: Who Took the Cookies from the Cookie Jar? by Bonnie Lass and Philemon Sturges

 

We love cookies in our house, which is one reason why I need to lose weight now. In this book it's a fun adaptation of the classic playground song. Help Skunk solve the mystery as he asks each of his animal friends; Mouse, Raven, Squirrel, Rabbit, Turtle, Raccoon, Snake, Beaver, and Frog, who took the cookie from the cookie jar. Who Took the Cookies from the Cookie Jar? by Bonnie Lass and Philemon Sturges and illustrated by Ashley Wolff was published in September 2000. 

The illustrations in this book are so on point and make each character look life-like and not as much as cartoonish. I loved reading this book to all my kids. We love the familiar kid song that it's based off and this book took the cake. It's so fun reading the storyline and my kids had a blast guessing who took the cookies. This book will be so much fun for you to add to our collection.
