The Night the Kingdom Rose Again by Jason Sivewright

 

We love the Kansas City Chiefs in this house. I grew up watching the Chiefs play and cheer them on. It didn't matter if they won or lost or even went very far in the season I still cheered them on. So last year it was amazing to see the Chiefs succeed and go to the Super bowl and take it. Of course this year we went to the Super Bowl again but didn't take the trophy home. In this book it talks about how the Kansas City Chiefs got to the Super Bowl. The Night the Kingdom Rose Again by Jason Sivewright and illustrated by Kristen and Kevin Howdeshell was published in April 2020. 

I loved this story as they included all the key players of the team. The illustrations in this book are amazing and really show the characters in the story. My kids really enjoyed this book and giggled at the illustrations knowing all the players. It's a fun book and really shows how to keep trying and you will succeed.
