Valensteins (Fright Club #2) by Ethan Long

 

With Valentine's we read a lot of books to celebrate the holiday for several weeks. In this book something strange is in the air on a dark, cold night. The members of Fright Club are always ready to scare, but tonight Fran K. Stein has something else on his mind. He's busy making something, and the other monsters want to know what it is. Valensteins by Ethan Long was published in December 2017. This book is number 2 in the Fright Club series. 

My kids giggled at this story and could not believe it was a Valentine's book. My two boys really loved this book having monsters in it and not being so lovey dovey. This book is so much fun and is a different take all together. The illustrations are dark but not scary just no bright colors. They are still fun to show kids and keep their attention. The text in some parts were hard to read aloud but we made it through. Check out this book.
