50 States of Reading: Massachusetts
The next state that we are studying and "traveling" through a book is Massachusetts. This state has so much history with it. So it was fun to talk about this state and all of it's history that is involved.
Massachusetts (True Book: My United States) by Cody Crane was published in September 2017. This book would be good for kids in upper elementary and middle school. I love the photographs and graphics in this book. We didn't read the whole book cover to cover but pieces of it. My kids really enjoyed learning through this book. This book covered the history aspects of the state as well state animals and birds. We also enjoyed learning the statistics of the state. This book should be checked out.
