50 States of Reading: Ohio

 

My older two kids have been to Ohio, visiting one of their Uncles house a long time ago. They don't remember much from our visit but they were excited to learn about the state. So we traveled to Ohio for our next stop on reading through the states. 

Ohio (Rookie Read-About Geography) by Christine Taylor - Butler was published in March 2007. My kids really liked reading about the people, society, and culture in the books. I really like how it's a simple text to read which is perfect for kindergarten on up. The vocabulary words are simple and it helps a lot. This book is really cute and really worth checking out and learning about Ohio.
