Huggy, Kissy by Leslie Patricelli

 

I love simple illustrations for toddlers. It helps them focus on what is happening in the book. So when I saw this book I thought we had to check it out. In this book is about an adorable bald baby and his family finds lots of ways to show how they love him. Huggy Kissy by Leslie Patricelli was published December 2012. 

This book kind of got on my nerves as it had a lot of baby talk. As I have two kids with speech delays and a toddler learning how to talk. I have learned how important it is not to baby talk. Baby talk can delay speech as well. Other then that its a sweet story and my toddler really liked the book. She loved looking at the pictures through out as they are colorful and yet simple in nature.
