Penguin in Peril by Helen Hancocks

 

One little penguin. Three hungry cats. His chances don't look good - can this penguin in peril make his escape? Penguin in Peril by Helen Hancocks was published in February 2013. 

I was for sure thought my kids would like this book. They love Penguins and love silly little antics of things. But for some reason this book fell flat with all four kids. My kids were not a fan of the story-line in this book. The story-line was a weird story-line that my kids were bored reading. It was an easy book to read aloud so not sure what it was. The illustrations in this book were adorable and helped me rate it two stars. But I felt like the story-line needed some more action in it to help kids keep their attention on the book.
