Sure, there's buried treasure to be found, but nobody's digging up anything until Bonney Anne quits her caterwauling. Pirates Don't Change Diapers by Melinda Long illustrated by David Shannon was published in March 2007. 

The illustrations in this book are amazing. I love how the characters look on each page and how their personality really shined. The story-line, I felt like it was rushed and could have been better. My kids were not really a fan of this book and were bored with this story. I had no trouble reading this book aloud to the kids. But it was hard to keep their attention.
