The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade by Max Brallier

 

The zombies are disappearing. This might seem like a good thing, since zombies eat your brains, but normal human kid Jack Sullivan is suspicious. He keeps hearing an eerie shrieking noise that seems to be almost summoning the zombies - but to where, and for what foul purpose? The Last Kids on Earth and the Zombie Parade by Max Brallier illustrated by Douglas Holgate was published in September 2016. This book is number 2 in the Last Kids on Earth. 

I read this book with Mason as he begged me to read the second book as soon as we finished book 1. We loved this book this book had some scary parts but they always ended up ending on a funny part. Mason was laughing and begged me to keep reading. This book is a little hard for him to read with out a lot of help, but he was able to understand the book really well when it was read to him. The illustrations in this book have no colors but it doesn't change how amazing they are. I love all the illustrations in this book and how they really bring the whole book together.
