The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister

Rainbow fish is one of those classic books that most adults have read as a kid. Rainbow fish was so very proud of his scales and every time someone asked if they could have one he would tell them no or was really mean. The one day, no one wanted to spend time with Rainbow Fish. The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister was published in 1992. This book has won American Booksellers Book of the Year Award for Children in 1995 and North Carolina Children's Book Award in 1995.

I read this to my daughter, Cassie. She loved looking at the shiny scales on the fish. I love the story-line in this story and how they talk about sharing and being a bully. How you lose friends when you are a bully and not gain them. It's a cute story and love how colorful the illustrations in this book are. The characters are so cute and worth checking out.
