Not a Box by Antoinette Portis
A box is just a box ... unless it's not a box. From mountain to rocket ship, a small rabbit shows that a box will go as far as the imagination allows. Not a Box by Antoinette Portis was published in December 2006. This was a nominee for Theodor Seuss Gisel Award in 2007.
This was a strange book that is really simple and you can tell it's meant for toddlers and infants. The illustrations in this book are not colorful and very simple. It looks like a young child could have drawn some of the illustrations. But the story-line is really cute and talks about all the different things that kids can imagine with a box. I recommend you to check it out for your little readers.
