Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale by Mo Willems

This funny story tells how Trixie and Knuffle Bunny's trip to the laundromat with Dad goes terribly wrong when Trixie realizes some bunny's been left behind...! Her attempts to alert Dad all the way home are unsuccessful, until Mom points out that Knuffle Bunny is missing and the family hotfoot it back to the laundromat. Fortunately, KB is safe, if a little wet. Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale by Mo Willems was published in 2004. This is book one in Knuffle Bunny series. This book has won Caldecott Medal Nominee in 2005, Borders Original Voices Award for Picture Books in 2004, Bluegrass Award for K-2 in 2006, Charlotte Zolotow Award Nominee for Honor Book in 2005, Vermont's Picture Book Award Red Clover in 2006, Irma Black Award in 2005, Wanda Gag Read Aloud Book Award Nominee in 2005.

We love finding books by Mo Willems. The illustrations in this book are so unique with a mixture pictures and illustrations. They were colorful and really grab your attention. The story is adorable and I loved seeing a story that is a father with their child. It's a cute story and I recommend that everyone check out.
