We're going on a bear hunt. We're going to catch a big one. Will you come too? We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen illustrated by Helen Oxenbury was published in 1989. This book has one Nestle Smarties Book Prize for 0-5 Years & Overall in 1989 and Boston Globe-Horn Book Award in 1990. 

I think all toddlers should hear this book before they go to school at least one. It's such a fun story that you can help it to read with a rhythm. The illustrations are simple but really colorful. Cassie really loved reading this book and seeing all the cute illustrations. I love reading this book to all my kids throughout the book. This is such a cute classic children's book that I recommend that it goes into every nursery bookshelf.
