I think it's important for kids to learn about different community helpers and also in keeping themselves healthy. This book uses comparisons between animals and people. It helps kids understand what makes humans human. Does a Tiger Go to the Dentist? by Harriet Ziefert illustrated by Emily Bolam was published by July 2014.
My kids giggled with this book to think of the different animals going to the dentist. They of course all had to run and get their teeth brushed after we read this book too. The illustrations in this book are really simple which is fine. They are colorful and silly and makes kids just look at them. We loved the simple text and this book was really easy to read-aloud. I recommend this book for preschoolers and above. This book would be great for introducing dentist and healthy teeth week in school. Do you have any other good dentist books that you can share?
