Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses by Kimberly and James Dean

 

Pete the Cat wakes up feeling grumpy - nothing seems to be going his way. But with the help of some magic sunglasses, Pete learns that a good mood has been inside him all along. Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses by Kimberly and James Dean published in October 2013. 

This is really cute book of Pete the Cat. The illustrations in this book is a lot like the other Pete the Cat books. They are colorful and perfect for preschoolers to listen to the book and easy enough text for older Kindergarten. The text is easy to read-aloud and it has a song type quality to it. I love books that have a song type quality to them. The only thing is that it's really hard to not sing the words. This book has a good growth mindset about it when Pete realizes that the glasses don't help the day be better it's him seeing the good in things that makes it the day better.
