The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle
Who hasn't read the very famous story of a caterpillar. This is one of my children's favorite books when they are young. They love butterflies and love looking through this book. The Very Hungry Caterpillar written by Eric Carle was published in June 1969. This book has had California Young Readers Medal Nominee for Primary in 1976.
The illustration in this book are so colorful and really draw the reader and those who listens to the book. This book also is great to read from infant to 99 years old. I love how they go through the life cycle of a caterpillar but in a cute story-line. I also love how they use counting throughout the book. This book is so cute and perfect for any bookshelf. We love having this book on ours. It's such a cute book that our book is falling apart as it's read so much.
