Cookiesaurus Rex by Amy Fellner Dominy and Nate Evans
Who doesn't like a book about a cookie and a dinosaur? In this book Cookiesaurus Rex comes out of the oven, he declarers he is the King of all cookies. He should be frosted before all other cookies in a nice green color. But something happens and he wants a do-over. Just not the kind he was hoping for. Cookiesaurus Rex by Amy Fellner Dominy and Nate Evans illustrated by A.G. Ford was published in September 2017.
Let's first talk about the illustrations in this book. The illustrations in this book are so bright and colorful. The pages just shine on every page. I love the illustrations have details but not over the top where you can't get to see everything on the page. The text is simple and yet so much fun. It reminds me a lot of the Pigeon books by Mo Williams. The text is so much fun to read aloud as you can give the character the voice. It's such a fun book and I know for sure I can't wait to check out the other books.
