Doctor Ted by Andrea Beaty

 

A bump on his knee, a class full of sniffles, a principal with foot odor and not a doctor to be found. Ted knows it is time to become a Doctor Ted. Doctor Ted by Andrea Beaty illustrated by Pascal Lemaitre was published in April 2008. 

This book is perfect to help calm toddlers when they are visiting the doctor. It's very simple text that I wouldn't use for preschoolers. But it's very basic story and easy to read to a little one. The illustrations throughout this book are bright and colorful which will keep the little ones attention. It is really easy to read aloud and there will be no stumbling. I recommend adding this to a nursery book shelf.
