Farmer Duck by Martin Waddell
I love finding fun interesting books. In this book, Duck is doing all the work that the farmer should do. He is exhausted and the farm animals start to help him. Farmer Duck by Martin Waddell illustrated by Helen Oxenbury was published in April 1992. This book has won Nestle Smarties Book Prize for 0-5 Years & Overall in 1991.
I had a lot of hope for this book, but I felt like the story-line was lacking something. Cassie was not much of a fan of this book and was wanting me to read a different book. The illustrations in this book are cute and save this book in truth. This book was easy to read a loud to my kiddos. I just think the story-line needs some twinkling.
