Book Review: This Book Just Ate My Dog! by Richard Byrne

We love interaction books. Books that make the reader do something and something happens are so much fun. We found "This Book Just Ate My Dog!" by Richard Byrne to be one of those books. When Bella dog disappears into the gutter of this book she calls for help. Then her helpers disappeared and Bella realizes that it all will take more then a tug on the leash to put things right.

So my kids giggled throughout this book. They also had to take turns to do all the actions that this book ask the readers to do. They giggled each time we read this book like it was the first time they read it. They loved this book so very much. The illustrations in this book are simple and yet they really work with this book. You will have yourself moving the book in different directions to help the character Bella. Such a fun book that I am going to add to my family's collection of books for sure.
