Book Review: Break the Ice/ Everest Saves the Day! by Courtney Carbone

What toddler doesn't like Paw Patrol, to tell the truth we had never even seen an episode of Paw Patrol when we first read these books. A little girl I used to babysit introduced us to the famous characters. Mason fell in love with Paw Patrol and knew their names even before we ever watched the show or even read a book. I mean what is there not to love about Puppies that save the day. So we found these stories "Break the Ice!" and "Everest Saves the Day! by Courtney Carbone and illustrated by Mike Jackson.

This book is two stories in one! In the first tale "Break the Ice" Everest has to save a whole who's been trapped in the ice. Oh No....and in the second tale, "Everest Saves the Day!" is where Everest has to save the day and the pups.

My kids who are 7, 5, 3, and even my five month old love these books so very much. They love Paw Patrol and as a mom I really like them as well. These two stories are based off an episode in the series. I really like the vocabulary throughout the stories that help my kids learn what each thing means. These are perfect for those readers who are just starting to learn how to read. We love how similar the pictures are to the show. You can't really tell any difference between the two. I love how they always have a theme to show that anyone can be a hero. Check out these stories if you have a kid who loves puppies or even those who love Paw Patrol.
