Book Review: Squeak, Rumble, Whomp! Whomp! Whomp!: A Sonic Adventure by Wynton Marsalis

What kid doesn't like books that have some weird words that they never heard of. We decided to check out this book based off it's title. "Squeak, Rumble, Whomp! Whomp! Whomp!: A Sonic Adventure" by Wynton Marsalis and illustrated by Paul Rogers. This book is about all the sounds in the world around us.

I really wanted to like this story as it seems like it would be a fun story. My kids really didn't enjoy this story and it lose their interest really quickly. The illustrations were really nice and enjoyable to look at. The words were hard to read at times as a parent reading to her children. It's a better story being read to yourself in your head then out-loud.
