The Last Day of Kindergarten by Nancy Loewen

 

That time of the year when your sweet little kindergarten is ready for their first summer after school. This past year was a strange and crazy year of school. Mason took it like a champ and did amazing for doing his first year of elementary school online. We decided to celebrate. In this book, today is the last day of kindergarten. I wish it was the first. The Last Day of Kindergarten by Nancy Loewen illustrated by Sachiko Yoshikawa was published in February 2011. 

This school year has been insane. With three kids in remote school and deciding to keep them home was challenging but yet so awarding. My kids really stepped up and one of which was Mason. Mason was in Kindergarten during this school year. So he didn't get to experience the normal kindergarten year but he really stepped up this year. This book was so cute and really helped end his kindergarten school year. He loved listening to me read and and then we used that time to talk about all the fun memories of being in school. Such a cute story and for sure will check it out when Cassie goes through kindergarten.
