The Princess and the Frogs by Veronica Bartles

 

I love finding unusual books that are loosely based on fairy tales that we all know. In this book is based by fairy tale The Frog Prince. This is about a princess who only wants a pet frog - but keeps getting pesky princes instead. The Princess and the Frogs by Veronica Bartles illustrated by Sara Palacios was published in November 2016. 

This book is so cute and so funny. Even me as an adult was chuckling at some of the funny things that were happening in this story. Like most fairy tales there is a little lesson that comes from this story. Cassie loved the illustrations throughout this book. This book is so cute and perfect to read. I think all little girls will love this story and knowing that they don't always need a Prince in their lives.
