Chickens to the Rescue by John Himmelman

 

I want to find books that are funny and keep my kids enjoying books. There are so many amazing children's books out there to read and add to your reading collection. In this book Farmer Greenstalk dropped his watch down the wall and on Tuesday he was too tired to make dinner. Chickens to the rescue! The amazing chickens on the farm race to help the family members and farm animals every of the week. Chickens to the Rescue by John Himmelman was published in October 2006. 

This book is so cute. The illustrations are colorful and I really enjoyed that it goes from each day of the week. It's a cute book to help kids know the days of the week. Cassie really enjoyed this book and was giggling at the antics the chickens were up to. She loved the illustrations and seeing the chickens do all different things and each chicken was different. This book was easy to read lout and it flowed really nice. Make sure you check it out.
