Gerald discovers that there is something worse than a bird on your head-two birds on your head! Can Piggie help her best friend? There is a Bird on Your Head! by Mo Willems was published in September 2007. This book has won Theodor Seuss Geisel Award in 2008 and Charlotte Award in 2010. This is book #4 of the Elephant and Piggie series.

We love Mo Willems. I am sure you will find lots of books by him on this blog. My kids love how creative he is in his books. But also did you know he did drawing lessons for free online during the start of covd-19. Just like most of the Elephant and Piggie books the illustrations are simple in design but the characters show emotions. I also love that the text in this book are all in speech bubbles. It's a lot of fun having one child read for one character and you read for the other. Mason used these to practice his reading and it didn't seem like a chore. I loved that this book is so versatile. My kids really loved this book and giggled throughout. I recommend checking it out.
