The Big Umbrella by Amy June Bates and Juniper Bates

By the door there is an umbrella. It is big. It is so big that when it starts to rain there is room for everyone underneath. It doesn't matter if you are tall. Or plaid. Or hairy. It doesn't matter how many legs you have. Don't worry that there won't be enough room under the umbrella. Because there will always be room. The Big Umbrella by Amy June Bates and Juniper Bates was published in February 2018.

The illustrations in this book are so amazing and with the umbrella red it draws your eyes. I really love the hidden message in this book. I love how it has so many different type of people all coming under the umbrella. This is such a cute story with very simple text. Mason and Cassie both enjoyed listening to this book and enjoyed the illustrations. I loved reading this aloud to my kids and had no problem with it. There was no stumbling over words.
