Everybody Sleeps (But Not Fred) by Josh Schneider

Every kind of bird and beast has to sleep, from the monkeys in the jungle to the whales in the ocean to the ants under the ground. But not Fred. He has far too much to do! Armed with plenty of imagination, this determined little boy resists bedtime with adventurous flair. Everybody Sleeps (But Not Fred) by Josh Schneider was published in April 2015.

I read this book to Mason before he had to go to sleep. Now, Mason is my kid who will fight sleep no matter what and use every excuse to not sleep. But of course once we ignore all the request he finally just crashes. So this book reminded me of him so much. I felt for Fred's parents. The illustrations in this book are little odd but Mason thought they were so funny looking. The story-line is cute and really follows the normal story-line rise and fall. The story was really easy to read-aloud and had no trouble reading the pages. They flowed right into the other. This is a cute book and worth checking out especially for a bedtime book.
