Book Review: The Crippled Lamb by Max Lucado, Jenna Lucado Bishop, and Sara Lucado

I really like finding stories with different views. It teaches kids that there could be a different view to every story. Even their own fights with each other they all see it differently. So then I found this story about a crippled lamb. "The Crippled Lamb" by Max Lucado, Jenna Lucado Bishop, and Sara Lucado is about a lamb named Joshua. He was different and always left out from the flock.

This story is so sweet with how it's okay to be different from our friends and our classmates. It means that Heavenly Father has a different plan for our life then to others. We really enjoyed this story as my five year old has Autism and acts differently then the other kids. He struggled with every day things that is so simple for our seven year old. This story was told as the lamb Joshua had a bigger plan in the Nativity story. I was able to explain to my seven year old and three year old using this book that we may not know the plan for my five year old but Heavenly Father knows and it's unique to him. The illustrations in this book are so life-like and amazing in color and texture on the pages. This book needs to be in your collection this holiday.
