Book Review: Santa's Favorite Story by Hisako Aoki

We love reading about Santa and the Nativity story. Reading about the Nativity story for my kids helps remind them what Christmas is all about. In "Santa's Favorite Story" by Hisako Aoki is about Santa being too tired to deliver packages. Christmas might be cancelled. The animals are worried but when Santa tells them a story of the very first Christmas the animals discover the true spirit of the season.

This is such a sweet story of hearing about the first Christmas through the eyes of Santa Claus. My kids really enjoyed this sweet story and hearing what the true spirit of Christmas is really about. The illustrations are simple in nature but they are perfect for this book. Being a simple illustrations adds to the story and doesn't take away from how special the story is. I recommend checking this book out.
