Book Review: Monsters Love Colors by Mike Austin

Mike Austin is the author of A Present for Milo, a book that was originally created as a preschool app and then later published as a print picture book, as well as the picture book, Monsters Love Colors. He has done editorial art for the Wall Street Journal, Boys' Life magazine, and more.

In Monster Love Colors, we learn about monsters. Did you know that monsters love to scribble, mix, dance, and wiggle? Because monsters love to make new colors! Celebrate along with the hilarious monsters in this wild and energetic picture book.

We loved this book from the amazing colorful cover to each colorful page throughout the book. My kids loved to dance and wiggle on each page with the monsters. I loved that this book was teaching my kids about colors and how to create new colors by mixing the colors. It helps them realize how green is made as well as some other secondary color. It is such a fun and light hearted monster book that we are for sure going to add to our library at home. I recommend this for kindergarten to infant.
