Every year, the town of Cubby Hill comes together for the Great Giving Festival, celebrating the spirit of giving and community that makes their town such a great place to live. The illustrations in this book are so colorful. I love how each animal in the book has their own personality. I love how this story has a plot where some picture books don't have a great plot to follow. Cassie really enjoyed reading this book with me. We talked about each thing that Cooper was doing was doing service for his friends. But also felt bad for him when he kept breaking his jars of honey. The little lesson that sometimes helping others is more important then anything else. Also loved how his friends came to help him deliver the honey in the end of the book. I highly recommend checking out this sweet book.
