Book Review: Vote for Me! by Ben Clanton

"Vote for Me!" by Ben Clanton is a timely satire of American politics, but it's a story readers of all nationalities and ages will recognize. Comical, retro illustrations are completely winning, and the dueling duo's insult-laden exchanges promise to have readers laughing out loud.

This book is so funny and really fit the world we live in right now with the election in a few weeks. The pictures were simple so that you can focus on the the characters of the book. My three kids love the text of the book and the whole meaning around it. We talked about bullying and how it's not the right thing to do even if you want things to be your way. We also talked about the election that is about taking place and about the commercials we have been seeing how they are talking bad about other people. I recommend this for all ages.
