Book Review: Thanksgiving Day Thanks by Laura Malone Elliot

Laura Malone Elliot and Lynn Munsinger have created another holiday story about the lovable characters from "A String of Hearts." Perfect for a teacher's classroom or a child's home bookshelf, "Thanksgiving Day Thanks" tells the story of Sam trying to figure out what he's thankful for. Sam also works on a special project to share at the Thanksgiving feast - his own version of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!


We have all been there where we can't figure out everything that we are thankful for. It's even worse for a child because some of the things they think are not important such as toys. I really liked this story because it goes through the character Sam trying to find out what he is thankful for also what he can bring to the feast. He tries very hard to make it perfect but ends up failing in the end. Though his friends help him become successful.
