The Wide-Mouthed Frog by Keith Faulkner

From the Okefenokee Swamp comes a frog with a wide mouth that he just loves to use. He's particular interested in the eating habits of other creatures found in the great outdoors, from the blue-feathered bird to a furry brown mouse. Until one day, he meets a big green animal with lots of teeth who finds wide-mouthed frogs simply delicious. The Wide-Mouthed Frog by Keith Faulkner illustrated by Jonathan Lambert was published in March 1995.

This was our favorite book for Letter F week. Cassie and her best friend loved listening to this book read to them over and over. The story-line in this book is so funny and will leave kids giggling at the frog. I also love how there is pop-ups through the book. The illustrations in this book are bright and colorful. It really grabs the attention of all the little kids. I highly recommend checking this book out for your amazing preschoolers they are sure to laugh and giggle.
