Book Review: Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick
Becca Fitzpatrick's Hush, Hush saga, including Hush, Hush, Crescendo; Silence; and Finale all debuted as New York Times best-sellers. She graduated with degree in health, which she promptly abandoned for storytelling. When not writing, she's most likely running, prowling sales racks for shoes, or traveling. She lives in Colorado with her family.
Finale is the fourth and last book of the series Hush, Hush. In this book, Nora and Patch thought their troubles were behind them. Hank is gone and they should be able to put his ugly vendetta to rest. But in Hank's absence, Nora has become the unwitting head of the Nephilim and must finish what Hank began. Which means destroying the fallen angels - destroying Patch.
I love the Hush, Hush saga, all the books except this one. I felt like Nora and Patch have become very flat characters. That all the build up in the other books was gone in this last book. I am not sure if the author really wanted to write this book. It felt like there was such a push to have written this book. I really could not see why Patch and Nora were together because they did not seem like they were in love as they did the other books. Actually Nora, seemed more attached to another character in the book. The Bad Boy. It just really was slow book for me and it was really hard for me to finish it. Which is the complete opposite of how I felt with the first three. It was a let down for me.
