Book Review: There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey! by Lucille Colandro

We love the series of There Was an Old Lady because they are so much fun and so creative. So when we saw there was a "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey!" by Lucille Colandro, we had to gobble it up (pun intended) for Thanksgiving. In this book the old lady is at it again and this time she swallowing a turkey because she so quirky. She swallows some massive items in this story some will make you question whether she will die.

We loved this story and it really got us in the mood for Thanksgiving. The illustrations in this book by Jared D. Lee are so amazing. His illustrations are one of a kind with their looks and expressions on the characters faces. We loved how silly this book and my kids were laughing on what the old lady could eat. We won't spoil it for you but some of them are pretty amazing feat for this old lady. We recommend this book for all ages. Even adults will get a kick out of this amazing book.
