Book Review: The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything by Linda Williams

We love the Little Old Lady books in this house and so when I saw this book I knew we had to check it out. When we found out this book it was perfect to read for Halloween and even add to our new collection of books. In this book the little old lady was walking through the woods to return home. On her way home she went through some woods and things started to follow her. Things like pumpkins, witches, and bats. "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything" by Linda Williams earned the Keystone to Reading Book Award in 1988.

I really enjoyed reading this book to my kids. They loved the action words and how the little old lady was not scared. We loved the illustrations in this book and how life-like they are and how they draw the readers into the book. It really makes you see the books through the illustrations by Megan Lloyd. This book is perfect for Halloween and it is perfect for kids of all different ages to get them in the mood for Halloween. My three year old was giggling with every page. My five and seven year old helped read the repeated words throughout the books. It's perfect for all ages.
