Book Review: Leonardo, the Terrible Monster by Mo Willems

What is even better a book about Monsters or a book by Mo Willems. My kiddos love books by Mo Willems and he has created the famous Elephant and Piggie books. They also really enjoy books about monsters. So when we saw this book by Mo Willems and about monsters we had to grab at it. "Leonardo the Terrible Monster" by Mo Willems was a nominee for Charlotte Zolotow Award for Highly Commended Title in 2006. In this book, Leonardo was a terrible monster at being a monster. He tries and tries to frighten people but he can not. So he trains and he researches when he comes across a little boy. Leonardo goal is to scare the tuna sandwich out of him.

This book is amazing and it is full of amazing fun. This book is perfect for kids who loves monsters and love to scare people. It's a perfect book for young toddlers for around Halloween. We love Mo Willems and is wording throughout the books. It's perfect combination with the illustrations through out the book. My three year old enjoyed the book way more then my other two kids. It's a perfect book to add to your collection.
