The Three Ninja Pigs by Corey Rosen Schwartz

Practice makes perfect in this kick-butt fractured fairy tale. Why does this wolf think he can come to town and blow all the houses down? These three little pigs just aren't going to take it from that bully anymore! The first starts aikido lessons - he'll make mincemeat of that wolf! His brother learns a little jujitsu - he'll chop that guy to pieces! But when the wolf actually appears, it turs out these two pigs aren't ready after all. Good thing their sisters has been training every day to master some serious karate moves that save the day. KIYA! The Three Ninja Pigs by Corey Rosen Schwartz illustrated by Dan Santat was published in September 2012.

I love finding new fractured fairy tale books to read to my kids. It's so important to read all types of books to kids. Also reading different books around fairy tales well help them learn how to compare and contrast books. The illustrations in this book are so fun. Each character in the book have their own personalities and it shows on every page of the book. The story-line in this book is great. It has the rise and fall of a normal story-line that is found in story books. I also love that it's not all about three little pigs but it's a mix of it's own story-line with the familiar three little pigs story line. I highly recommend this checking this book out.
