Book Review: Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt

Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watt is about a squirrel who doesn't leave his nut tree because of the unknown. He is scared of everything out there and in this book something happens to him and he has to leave his tree. He then finds out that the world out there isn't as scary as he thought. 

My kids didn't like this book. The pictures of this book were very plain and it wasn't a funny story. They were bored throughout the book and wished it was over. I like the concept of this book but don't think it played out really well through it. It was hard to read the book and the characters were boring one dimensional. I don't recommend this book.
