Book Review: Runaway Pumpkin by Kevin Lewis

Kevin Lewis, the author of the bestselling, Chugga-Chugga Choo-Choo pairs up with award-winning illustrator S.D. Schindler to create a picture book about a pumpkin on the run in The Runaway Pumpkin, When Buck, Billy, and their little sister Lil see the biggest pumpkin they have ever seen they can't resist. The boys try to roll the pumpkin down the hill to show all their family, but it's too big. Before long it's bumping and thumping and rolling out of control down the hill. Find out all the trouble this pumpkin gives to the Baxter's family farm when this pumpkin comes rolling in.

This book is so much fun for all ages. The rhyming in this book makes it's a sing song type book. The pictures are so colorful and so expressive that my kids loved looking at everything in detail on each picture. It is for sure a book to read to your kids about pumpkins.
