Cassie checked this out of the library and we read it before bed one evening. I love finding books of different cultures, races, and disabilities to share with my kids. I love Mary had a Little Lamb song and this story has similar sing song quality to it. Though it doesn't really resemble the song which to me is totally fine. The book was easy to read and and the illustrations were bright and colorful. The illustrations really match the text of the story well. I love how it talks about cleaning up the places where we live and also talks about teamwork. I also love that it shows that kids can start protecting or starting something big to help the place where they live. This is such a great story perfect for Earth Day.
