The Stocking Stuffer by Holley Merriweather

It's Christmas Eve and for the first time ever, Santa's naughty list is empty! With a terrible blizzard raging outside, how will Santa be able to deliver Christmas magic to every single home before midnight? Meet Tinsel, the Stocking Stuffer! A little mouse with a big heart, Tinsel is ready to be Santa's special helper on this important night. As Santa places gifts under the tree, Tinsel stuffs each stocking with care. But what about when a stocking is missing form the mantel? The Stocking Stuffer by Holley Merriweather illustrated by Stephanie Graegin was published in September 2022.

This was a cute little change to the normal 'Twas the Night before Christmas. I loved the plot in this story as kids always wonder how does Santa do it all. This was a little use of imagination to come up with a mouse that helps Santa by filling the stockings at each house. Cassie and Mason really loved the illustrations in this story and how the mouse helps. I also love how this book would fit perfectly in the stocking if you wanted to give it for Christmas. Or you can even have your Elf on the Shelf bring it one day and leave it in a stocking. I loved the story and I think it just gives the kids the imaginations of who else could be helping Santa deliver presents. It could be a fun writing piece of who the kids can think of delivery the gifts. I highly recommend checking this book out.
